Frequently asked questions

For long workouts, hot weather, sauna use and long work shifts when sweating increases. The product replenishes key electrolytes (Mg, K, Na, Ca) and contains glycine and vitamin C; it is not a medical ORS.(See exact ingredients and dosage on the page.)

Daily dose (3 scoops) contains:about 1737 mg sodium, what is close to the WHO recommended maximum of 2000 mg/day If you are on a salt restriction or have high blood pressure, monitor your total intake and adjust/dilute as needed.

If you are taking medications that increase potassium(e.g.ACE inhibitors/ATR blockers or potassium-sparing diuretics), discuss use with a professional — the combination may increase the risk of hyperkalemia.(The product contains potassium chloride; see page for details.)

The unflavored powder has a naturally salty/alkaline taste. Mix as directed.water (e.g. ~5 dl); you get a smoother taste by first mixing with a small amount of water, letting it dissolve and then adding the rest — a shaker prevents lumps. Mineral water or ice cubes can improve the mouthfeel.
